Key Responsibilities

Perform floor care services including:

Strip & wax (VCT and other hard floors)

Scrub & recoat

Burnishing and buffing

Carpet extraction and carpet maintenance

Operate and maintain floor care equipment:

Auto-scrubbers

Floor buffers

Burnishers

Carpet extractors

Follow established cleaning schedules for commercial buildings.

Ensure all chemicals and equipment are used safely and properly.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Report any equipment issues or floor damage immediately.

Assist with special projects as assigned (high dusting, deep cleans, etc.).

✔️ Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of floor care experience required.

Proficiency in carpet cleaning and stripping/waxing techniques.

Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor.

Reliable transportation and ability to work evenings or weekends if needed.

Knowledge of chemical safety, PPE, and janitorial best practices.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
